Floodplain Information
NEW FLOODPLAIN AND PREVIOUS FLOODPLAIN COMPARISON
The Map depicts the new FEMA mapped floodplain compared to the previously
mapped floodplain, that is also shown on the Village Zoning Map as floodplain. The yellow colored cross-hatch is the prior mapped floodplain that is no longer floodplain. The blue-ish cross-hatch represents the newly mapped floodplain, and a combination the yellow and blue cross-hatch is the prior mapped floodplain that remains in floodplain on the new maps. Please be aware that although newly mapped floodplain is shown within the environmental corridors of The Pines and The Settlement at Utica Lake subdivisions, the final plats of those subdivisions identified similar floodplain lines.

The property owner must provide documentation specific to the elevation of your property for the floodplain requested to be removed. The process of requesting a LOMR may be accessed at www.fema.gov. Type in LOMR in the advanced search area in the upper right hand column of the FEMA home page.
